Savory Smooth Black Bean Dip

2 (15.5 oz cans) black beans
1/4 cup water
3 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup minced onion
1 cup minced cilantro
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. paprika
1 lime
8 oz. Oakhurst Sour Cream
Preparation
Add 2 cans of rinsed and drained black beans into small pot, heat on low with 1/4 water while preparing other ingredients.
Unwrap and mince garlic. Mince onions. Caramelize in cast iron pan by sautéing in oil and adding splash of water, paprika, and pinch of pepper when onions become translucent.
Mince cilantro. Set aside small amount for garnish, add rest to black beans in pot.
Add cumin, black pepper, and Oakhurst Sour Cream to black beans in pot. (Save some sour cream for garnish!)
Removed blackbean mixture from heat, let cool.
Use food processor on cooled black bean mixture in pot, add lime juice.
Transfer black bean mixture into serving bowl, garnish with additional Oakhurst Sour Cream, caramelized onions and garlic, black pepper, and lime juice. Serve with your favorite chips or veggies.
