Rise n' Shine Strawberry Banana Smoothie |

In a blender add...
1 C. Oakhurst Low-fat Milk
1 C. Oakhurst Orange Juice
4 T. Low-fat Stonyfield Vanilla Yogurt
12 Frozen Strawberries
1 Banana
Blend until smooth and serve. Serves 2. |

Versatile Vanilla Pudding
In a large saucepan, bring 3 C. Oakhurst Milk almost to a boil over low heat.
Meanwhile, stir together:
- 1/4 C. sugar
- 2 1/2 - 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
(for pies, you may want to make it 3 1/2 - 4 Tbsp.)
- Stir 1-2 eggs into sugar/cornstarch mixture.
Ladle some of hot milk into egg mixture and stir together. Slowly pour the warm egg mixture into the hot milk, stirring the hot milk constantly. Heat pudding on low, stirring constantly, until it boils for about one minute. Remove from heat. Stir in 1 tsp. vanilla.
Serves 4-6.
The kids can help make these fun desserts out of pudding !!!
- Use vanilla pudding as a pie filling for a graham cracker crust. Top with sliced bananas for a creamy banana pie. How about using sliced strawberries and kiwi!
- Layer pudding with fruit in a parfait or sundae glass.
- Make a trifle by layering yellow cake, pudding and fruit in a large glass bowl.

Nu-trish Chilled Blueberry Soup |
- 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 cups Oakhurst Nu-trish milk
- 1 cup non-fat sour cream or yogurt
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract

| In a saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar, and water. Simmer 20 minutes. In a blender or food processor, puree blueberries with remaining ingredients. Chill. |
Nu-trish Chilled Rasberry Soup |
- 1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
- 1/3 cup cold water
- 3/4 cup hot water
- 2, 10oz. pkgs. Frozen raspberries, thawed
- 2 cups Oakhurst Nu-trish milk
- 1 cup non-fat sour cream or vanilla yogurt
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 cup Grenadine

| In a small saucepan, soak 1 pkg. unflavored gelatin in 1/3 cup cold water for 5 minutes. Stir in 3/4 cup hot water and dissolve over low heat. Push thawed raspberries through a sieve. Combine all ingredients, cover, and chill several hours. |

To a blender of ice and Oakhurst regular or Nu-trish milk, add:
- Blueberries and raspberries
- Apricot nectar or sliced mango, banana, and a squeeze of lemon juice ( a tropical delight!)
- Purple grape juice and blueberries (wild color!)
- Strawberries and black cherry yogurt
- Peaches and raspberries
- Strawberries and a scoop of cream of coconut
- Vanilla and/or almond extract
- Pineapple juice and cream of coconut (a pina colada smoothie!)
To a blender of ice and Oakhurst chocolate milk, add one of the following:
- A banana
- Almond extract
- Cooled coffee or instant coffee powder
- Some smooth peanut butter (for you chocolate and peanut lovers!)
