Winner Of The Natural Goodness of Maine Summer Sweepstakes Announced

Portland, Maine (August 20, 2009)Oakhurst Dairy is pleased to announce that Paula Desrosiers is the winner of The Natural Goodness of Maine Summer Sweepstakes - a weekend getaway to Maine’s Sebasco Harbor Resort and Popham Beach right on beautiful Casco Bay.  The Summer Sweepstakes was the second of four that will occur throughout 2009 as Oakhurst Dairy’s way of sharing the Natural Goodness of Maine each season with a series of mini-vacations to unique Maine destinations.

“I learned about the contest by the sticker on my gallon of milk,” said Mrs. Desrosiers.  “I buy Oakhurst milk because of its quality and freshness.  Another major reason is that they support the local farmers here in Maine which is very important to me and my family.”

“As a family owned, Maine company, we at Oakhurst wanted to share with our loyal consumers the beauty of the state in which our employees and the farmers that produce our milk all live, work and play,” said Linda Sheehy, Marketing Communications Manager, Oakhurst Dairy.

The contest was promoted on Oakhurst Dairy’s website, on specially marked gallons of Oakhurst milk and with online and newspaper advertising.   The third of the four getaways, coming up this fall, is an exciting adventure package with Maine Huts & Trails. Consumers 18 years and older can enter The Natural Goodness of Maine Fall Sweepstakes at www.oakhurstdairy.com. Entries will be accepted anytime from September 7 to October 30, 2009.
